“ Oasis is my favorite Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant in the entire greater Portland area. I especially enjoy the Hillsboro location and I try to go there as often as possible. Fantastic flavors and service. ”
“ We had Exotic Lebneh, Chicken Tawook Kebab and Chicken Shawarma platter and it was all great. Also great service and a nice space. ”
“ Staff are very friendly! Great service. Good food. Looking forward to going back. Forgot what we had but we got good time. ”
“ Oasis has held this location in Hillsboro for the better part of a decade as some incredibly formidable neighbors--Southern Spice, Pure Spice--came and went. It feeds tables of Intel vendors in for the weekend, Omega Morgan contractors building the next data center, state lab workers saving babies' and animals' lives and old Hillsboro families eating their first falafel in overalls. That the Alkhatib family has stayed here so long an impressed so many is a testament to both the Lebanese restaurant owners who helped prepare the palates around them (thinking the Dibe family at Nicholas and Zeina Shaer at Abu Rasheed) and to their unwavering commitment to the menu. No, they aren't going to tone down the garlica or kibbeh. Yes, the chicken musuken is going to have some kick to it. Yes, there's going to be arak, jallab and ksara on the drinks menu. Most importantly, the lamb and falafel are going to take time because all good things do. The wraps are a bit more than I was used to paying back east, but the masses of workers who come in for the $15 lunch box have mastered the system. Oasis doesn't dumb down the menu and makes its dishes with the unabashed love of place and cuisine they deserve. It made its way through the pandemic by sticking to the game plan, making the food its customers have come to love and never letting the quality of its produce, meats or preparation slip. It is a Hillsboro staple, and the area is extremely fortunate it's remained. ”
“ My husband is in love with their lamb stew. I like the gyro. The inside of the restaurant is super nice and the staff are friendly. ”
“ Gyro with garlic sauce is always a win! Playing professional basketball I the Middle East and especially in Lebanon I had gotten hooked on garlic sauce. It has been such a pain to find an establishment with good garlic sauce but I don't have to look no further! I always order on the phone because the food is fresh and take time. The lamb gyro is so good with the warm pita! Winner!! The price is definitely more than the middle eat but that is expected in America. $10-12 for a gyro is reasonable and it is huge!! The ambiance in the restaurant takes my back to the Middle East. It's nice and clean, where you are greeted with great hospitality. I have eaten here 3 times in a month (a little addicted lol). ”
“ Stopped in for lunch while out and about and enjoyed it. The interior decor is darker with lots of gold and silver accents, and is just peaceful to sit in. It was slower being that I was having a late lunch but the service was friendly and prompt getting me seated and order taken. The food came out fairly quickly as well. The Fetah Hummus bowl order was very taste! The oil drizzle on it was a little heavy for my liking but the hummus and meat were prefect; well seasoned with tender meat. The bread is mixed into the hummus and not served on the side but you could easily split this with someone as an appetizer and order bread. ”
“ Came back here this Labor Day evening after a long hiatus and was pleasantly reminded how great it is. They weren't busy but they deserve to be. Food is great, with large portion sizes and came out fast. I had the Lamb Stew and it was fantastic (see photo)! I will definitely put this place back on my short list of great dinner spots in Hillsboro! ”
“ Been here a number of times with co-workers. Great place to take a large group and share items from the menu. Try to come right before lunchtime, since it's a favorite spot for many employees in the surrounding Hillsboro offices. If it's a warm sunny day, I'd recommend you sit by the patio. The food was excellent, service was great. This is probably the best Lebanese restaurant I have eaten at in Oregon. The lamb is perfect and my go-to dish. Nice size portions and the chicken Mukulun was packed with spices, nuts and fresh flatbread. Good Tahini sauce. I'd also recommend you try the Hummus Bi-Lahma, which is garbanzo beans paste with lamb meat and served with two super large tortilla-type pieces of bread (large plate for $10) and the Sambousek with chicken (3 for $6.95) ...large portion but delicious. Lentil soup is great especially during the cold, rainy weather. The prices were reasonable and the food authentic. I would drive here from Portland again for the food. ”
